## Change your primary login email


1. Add the new email as a user on your account. In TaxCloud, [add a new user ](https://support.taxcloud.com/en-us/articles/how-to-addremove-a-contact-from-your-taxcloud-account-9c3BQoBprx)profile using the new email address. The new user will receive a confirmation email to verify the address. (If you don't see it, check your spam/junk folder.)
2. Contact TaxCloud Support and ask to make the new email the primary login for your account. Support will set the new email as primary and disable the old one.

That's it! Once Support confirms the change, sign in with your new email address going forward.

## Good to know

* **Each email can be used only once in TaxCloud**. If the new email was previously used on another TaxCloud account (even a closed one), let Support know — they'll need to free it up before it can be added.
* Your account data, settings, and integrations are unaffected by the email change.
