What happens if I go over my allotment of orders or filings?

Your TaxCloud plan includes a set number of orders and a set number of filings per month or per year, depending on your plan type. These are tracked separately.

If you exceed either allotment, the overage is billed a-la-carte at your plan's per-unit price — orders at your per-order price, filings at your per-filing price. You can calculate each rate by dividing your plan cost by the number of orders (or filings) included.

If you anticipate exceeding your order or filing allotment, you can adjust your plan tier in your account settings. As your volume approaches the next tier, upgrading typically costs less than paying a-la-carte at your current tier — and at each higher tier, the per-order and per-filing price both drop.

How will I know if I'm exceeding my order or filing allotment?

To monitor your order and filing usage against your plan limits, go to Settings > Plans & Billing in the left-hand menu of your TaxCloud dashboard.
