## Adding a transaction is easy using our single-add wizard


1. Navigate to the **Transactions** section from the main menu.
2. Click the **Upload** button and select **Add Order** (or **Transactions > Add**) to begin creating a manual transaction.
3. On the **Start** page, select the appropriate **store/connection**, **location (origin address)**, and **order date**, then click **Next**.
4. If applicable, add or select an **exemption certificate** that already exists in TaxCloud. Otherwise, click **Skip** to continue without an exemption.
5. On the **Shopping Cart** page, click **ADD ITEM** to add products or services. For each cart item, enter the **ID/product description**, **Unit Price**, **Quantity**, and (if needed) the **TIC (Taxability Information Code)**. Select **Add** again if you have multiple cart items. You can use the tax code lookup feature if you are unsure which TIC to use.
6. After adding all items, click **Next** to proceed to the **Shipping Destination** page.
7. Enter the **destination address**. The system may provide suggestions to validate and correct the address. Confirm the correct address and click **LOOKUP**.
8. Review the complete **Order** details, including the **origin**, **destination**, and **shopping cart summary**, as well as the calculated sales tax (or lack of tax if the order is exempt).
9. Click **CAPTURE** to finalize and record the transaction.

By following these steps, you can successfully create and capture a manual transaction using the single-add wizard, ensuring that all necessary details—from order specifics to shipping information—are accurately recorded.
