# How do I confirm a rate with TaxCloud?

## Overview:

I would like to confirm a rate with TaxCloud.

Determination:

* If you have a tax rate that you'd like to confirm, please first check with the state's Department of Revenue website to verify that our rate matches theirs.
  * *You will need to do some searching online to find if the state has an online rate table/calculator*
* If you need to check further, please contact TaxCloud Customer Support with the orderID, origin, and destination address, along with the rate we provided and the rate you're expecting.
* We'll then have our Engineering Team review and make any necessary rate changes.
