Video: How to manually add a transaction

This video explains how to manually add a transaction.

Adding a transaction is easy using our single-add wizard

  1. Navigate to Transactions > Add
  2. Select the store you're adding the transaction to, the location (origin address), and the date.
  3. Select an exemption certificate already in TaxCloud, add an exemption certificate, or skip to the next step.
  4. Add cart items, the product description, price and TIC (taxability information code). Select add again if you have multiple cart items.
  5. Add the destination address and click on 'Lookup'.
  6. Confirm the sales tax (or lack of if tax is supposed to be voided) and click on 'Capture'.
